Playaby is run by Ali Faraz and Shafaq Sheikh. The arcade brings browser games, instructions and strategy guides together at a direct link for each game.
About the games and guides
The library includes implementations of familiar rules such as Sudoku and Connect Four, alongside arcade and driving games. Guides describe the controls, modes and decisions in these versions. Game rules and available features can differ from other editions.
Corrections and feedback
If a game fails or a guide describes the wrong behavior, use its feedback box or the contact page. Include the game, device, browser and steps that caused the problem; do not include passwords or sensitive information.

Under the hood
Playaby is built with Next.js and the App Router, styled with Tailwind CSS and a token-driven theme system, animated with React, and rendered in 3D with Three.js for games like the tower stacker. Each game is its own self-contained component, and every game lives at its own shareable route.

Is Playaby really free?
Yes. Every game is free to play with no sign-up, no download, and no in-app purchases.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser, and playing a game does not require any personal data — some pages do use ads and aggregate, non-identifying analytics, as explained on the Privacy page.
Can I play on my phone?
Absolutely. The whole arcade is responsive and games that need input provide on-screen touch controls.
How do I share a game with a friend?
Open any game and use the share bar at the bottom, or just copy the URL from your address bar — each game has its own shareable link.
What kinds of games are on Playaby?
The library spans Arcade, Puzzle, Board, Word, 3D and Racing games, plus a set of games tagged Multiplayer across those categories — everything from quick reflex games like Whack-a-Mole to deeper strategy games like Checkers and Chip Line. Use the category filters on the homepage, or the dedicated category pages, to browse just one genre at a time.
Can I play with a friend, or only solo?
Several games — including Tic Tac Toe, Checkers, Dots & Boxes, Color Cards and Chip Line — support real online multiplayer: create a room, send the link, and your friend joins from their own device with nothing to install. Rocket Knockout adds local 2-player on the same device, and most other games have a solo vs-CPU mode if you'd rather play alone.
Does Playaby save my progress?
Many games save your best score, unlocked stage, or progress locally in your own browser, so it's still there next time you open that game on the same device. There's no account to sign into, so nothing syncs across devices, and clearing your browser data resets it.
Do I need a powerful device or a specific browser to play?
No — every game is built to run in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone, and none of them require installing a plugin or app. All you need is a stable connection to load the page; most games keep running fine even if your connection drops after that.
How often are new games added?
New games get added regularly, usually filling out whichever category is thinnest at the time. There's no fixed schedule to check — the "All games" grid on the homepage always reflects the current full lineup.
